Charlotte Chic Creations began with a rescue dog named Charlotte.

I adopted Charlotte from a shelter when she was about two years old. When I first met her, she was so timid and scared that she wouldn’t look at me — shaking quietly in the corner. I couldn’t even pet her. At the same time, I had just moved away from home, started my first nursing job after graduating college, and was finding my footing in a brand-new chapter of life. I couldn’t even afford her adoption fee yet — but I knew she was mine. With a little help from my family before my first paycheck, Charlotte came home with me.

She was shy and anxious for a long time, and even today she’s still cautious around new people. But once you’re in her circle, you’re her whole world. Now she’s goofy, loyal, and proudly bossy to her doggy cousins — a perfect reflection of how far she’s come.

Charlotte changed everything for me. She became my constant, my comfort, and my sense of home through some of life’s biggest transitions. As I looked for ways to celebrate her, I realized how hard it was to find designs that looked like her — a perfect mutt with a story. So I started creating my own.

What began as designing pieces inspired by Charlotte grew into celebrating pets, places, and moments that mean the most. Rescue dogs hold a special place in my heart, and I believe every dog — no matter their background — deserves to be loved, safe, and celebrated. Charlotte Chic Creations exists to do just that.
